Hosting Space

Weebly provides unlimited disk space, but limits how big the submitted file as much as 5 Megabytes sharp. Webs enables you to upload 40 Megabytes files, however the provided disk space is coincidentally 40 Megabytes too.

Weebly winds hands down when it comes to storage space.

Customer Satisfaction

We believe that the most important consideration is what people are saying and have said about Weebly and Webs.com. From our research, there are more unhappy customers at Webs.com than at Weebly. We found this out by searching for customer comments on the Internet. We searched for terms such as “Weebly down”, “Webs.com sux”, “Weebly horrible”, “hate Webs.com”, and other unsupportive keywords. To be completely thorough, we also spent hours on the Internet analyzing terms such as “Weebly great”, “Webs.com good”, “Weebly fantastic”, “love Webs.com” and related positive keywords.

Our research found that, more than 85.6% of their current and past customers think that Weebly is a fantastic hosting. In comparison, the same cannot be said about Webs.com. Moreover, another Weebly review was also impressed with the customer satisfaction record of Weebly.

The easier hosting to use

When it comes to Weebly vs Webs.com in terms of ease of use, the learning curve for Webs.com is definitely a lot steeper. A lot of people choose to use a content management system such as WordPress on Webs.com for its flexibility, but with this flexibility comes complexity.

If you know how to modify codes, you can potentially do a lot of customizations with WordPress on Webs.com that you can’t do with Weebly. But are you a skilled developer? If not, you can still customize your website but you will need to hire a skilled developer which can cost quite a bit.

While there are customization limits to using Weebly, it is designed and built specifically so it is easy for non-developers to use with ease. You can definitely learn how to use Weebly a lot faster (and with a lot less headaches). On the other hand, if you have the time and resources, Webs.com will allow you to customize your website into a money generating machine.

Weebly is a What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get (WYSIWYG) website builder, so you can drag and drop paragraphs, pictures, slideshows, shopping cart buttons, etc directly into to the website builder to start building your website. However you place these content in the website builder is how it will look when the site is published. If you choose Webs.com, you will need to learn about FTP, HTML, CSS and other technical stuff that makes a website.

I strongly disagree with this. I have tried both Weebly and Webs, and I think that Webs is better. It has plenty of features, the main lack being in advertisement. In addition, Webs has trouble being edited in browsers other than Firefox and IE. However, the viewing in fine is most browsers I have tried, including Chrome and Safari.

The one stars do not make sense. As stated, there are plenty of features in Webs, and a moderately good support system. There are forums and detailed FAQs, and you can also purchase normally pro-only features with a credit system, such as free support tickets, unlimited pages, or increased bandwidth. I am very satisfied with Webs.

I don’t have as much experience with Weebly, but last time I tried it in 2008 or 2009, I was disappointed. It was too complex and confusing.

Also helps that Weebly doesn’t fail to work 9 out of 10 times.

I am a web developer myself, but I have tried both, and found Weebly tremendously better! Weebly’s user interface is better, Weebly’s builder is better, Weebly’s templates are better! The only thing that I like about webs better is HTML only mode, but you can’t use PHP or other codes like that, strictly HTML and CSS.
